Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect – T Cloud Public to join our team in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, Szeged, Hungary on a full-time, remote basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to architect and design cloud solutions for enterprise clients within Europe's leading telecommunications and IT services provider.

The Opportunity

As a Cloud Architect with Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, you'll lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions. Working within the OTC & Hyperscalers division, you'll partner with clients across industries to transform their digital operations using cutting-edge cloud technologies. Your expertise will shape how organisations leverage public cloud platforms to achieve business agility, innovation, and competitive advantage.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with client requirements and organisational strategy
• Evaluate and recommend public cloud platforms and services to optimise performance, cost, and security
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to establish cloud best practices and governance frameworks
• Lead technical assessments and feasibility studies for cloud migration and transformation initiatives
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to project teams throughout implementation phases
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and integrate innovations into solution designs

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale cloud solutions on major public cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud environments, integration patterns, and interoperability
• Expertise in cloud security, compliance frameworks, and data protection standards relevant to enterprise operations
• Advanced proficiency with cloud-native architecture, microservices, containerisation, and infrastructure-as-code
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent) strongly valued
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hungarian or German a beneficial asset
