Prime System Solutions is recruiting a Client Onboarding Engineer (MSP) for a full-time, remote position based at our Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa operations. This role is essential to delivering seamless implementations and establishing strong client relationships from day one.
About the Role
As a Client Onboarding Engineer (MSP), you will be the technical bridge between Prime System Solutions and our newly acquired clients. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and validating client technology environments, ensuring each implementation meets agreed specifications and leaves clients confident in their new systems. Your work directly impacts client satisfaction and the long-term success of their relationship with us.
What You'll Do
- Design and configure technology infrastructure for new clients in accordance with their requirements and industry best practices
- Deploy systems, applications, and network components across cloud and on-premises environments
- Perform thorough testing and validation to ensure systems perform as specified before client handover
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation tailored to each client's environment
- Conduct training sessions with client teams, equipping them to manage and troubleshoot their own systems
- Diagnose and resolve deployment issues collaboratively with support and account management teams
- Adhere to established onboarding processes and quality standards throughout each project
- Monitor system health during the critical initial weeks to identify and address any stability concerns
Who We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in system administration, infrastructure deployment, or technical client onboarding
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, virtualisation, or network systems configuration
- Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varying technical backgrounds
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
- Comfort working within structured processes and maintaining detailed documentation
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a commitment to quality delivery
- Openness to continuous learning and mastering new technologies
