Claims Handler – Property

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential third-party administrator in the insurance claims space. They are seeking a Property Claims Handler to join their remote team across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious claims professional who wants to accelerate their career growth in a high-performance environment.

Our client operates in the insurance TPA sector, combining strong claims expertise with technology to deliver faster, higher-quality outcomes for their insurer partners. They are well-funded and experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Handle property claims end to end from first notification of loss through to settlement
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, ensuring a clear and positive experience
• Review documentation, verify coverage, and assess liability accurately
• Set appropriate reserves and manage claims within your authority
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate appropriately
• Maintain accurate and thorough claims records for audit and compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement by flagging process inefficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Based in or willing to relocate to the UK or Ireland with work authorization
• 2+ years of property claims experience (buildings, contents, renters, commercial, or personal property)
• Strong organisation and ability to prioritise independently
• Comfortable using data to make decisions
• Team-oriented, hardworking, and ambitious
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others is a plus
• Startup or high-growth experience is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £28,000 – £33,000 base salary. The role also includes equity participation, quarterly performance bonus up to 15% of quarterly salary, private medical insurance, pension with 3% company match, and 20-28 days paid time off.
