Sysco is recruiting full-time Local CDL-A Truck Drivers for our Colchester, New London County distribution center. Earn $33.53 per hour starting, with potential to reach $36.58 per hour after your first 90 days, plus participation in bonus and incentive programs.
About the Role
This is a full-time position operating commercial delivery trucks on established local routes in the Colchester area. You'll manage the safe and timely delivery of food service products to our customers, concluding each day back at our facility. This route-based work offers the stability of returning home every evening while driving for one of North America's largest food service companies.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a commercial truck on daily routes within the local Colchester service area
- Deliver food and beverage products to restaurants, hotels, and food service establishments
- Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after each shift
- Document deliveries and maintain required paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers at each stop
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation and Sysco safety protocols
