Machine Operator I

Wabtec is hiring a Machine Operator I for our manufacturing facility in Monte Alto, São Paulo, Brazil. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience in industrial operations within a globally recognized industrial equipment company.

Role Overview

As a Machine Operator I at Wabtec's Monte Alto location, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery to support our production operations. This is an entry-to-intermediate level role where you'll develop practical skills in equipment operation, maintenance, and production processes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Core Duties

• Operate assigned manufacturing machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and production output throughout work shifts
• Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and basic maintenance tasks
• Document production data and maintain accurate operational logs
• Identify and report equipment issues, malfunctions, or quality concerns promptly
• Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a secure work environment
• Support production team initiatives and continuous operational improvement efforts

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience operating industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow technical work instructions and documentation
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Physical capability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing and lifting
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills
• Commitment to learning and developing technical competencies on the job
