You'll be a key growth driver at Premium Merchant Funding, identifying and developing relationships with merchants and business owners across the Birmingham area and beyond. Your work will combine proactive prospecting with relationship management—researching prospects, making compelling outreach, and moving qualified opportunities through our sales pipeline. You'll present our merchant funding solutions to decision-makers, understand their capital needs, and position how we can help their businesses thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify potential clients through phone, email, and networking to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
• Present Premium Merchant Funding's solutions and explain how our funding options meet specific merchant capital needs
• Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and activity in our CRM system
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets while consistently following up with leads and advancing deals
• Build long-term relationships with clients and partners to support repeat business and referrals
• Research market trends and merchant industries to refine your targeting and positioning strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role
• Strong communication and persuasion abilities with comfort speaking with decision-makers
• Goal-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets consistently
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
