Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team at our Saint Pauls, North Carolina facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of ammonia-based refrigeration systems used in industrial applications. Your technical expertise and dedication to safety protocols will be essential to keeping our refrigeration systems operating at peak efficiency and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration equipment and piping systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on refrigeration units
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using specialized testing equipment
• Follow EPA regulations and industry safety protocols for handling ammonia refrigerants
• Document service work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Respond to system emergencies and minimize operational downtime
• Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal safety standards

What You Bring

• Valid EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants (required)
