Business Development Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech organization building next-generation financial infrastructure for business owners. Our client is scaling rapidly and seeking a Business Development Representative to join their high-performing sales team. This role reports to the Head of Sales and focuses on identifying qualified opportunities, engaging potential clients, and building pipeline in a fast-growing environment.

This is an opportunity to master the fundamentals of sales while contributing directly to revenue growth at a company backed by leading investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients
• Proactively identify and research potential leads through social media, email campaigns, industry events, and other channels
• Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to build prospect lists, craft outbound messaging, and share insights with the sales team
• Engage key decision-makers at target companies to initiate meaningful sales conversations
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline to consistently meet coverage goals and KPIs
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments
• Contribute to a customer-first, high-performance culture focused on growth and innovation

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a customer-focused or sales-related role, ideally in a high-growth environment
• Self-motivated individual who can independently prospect, manage, and qualify leads
• Passion for relationship development and meaningful client interactions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Persistent, competitive mindset—someone who consistently exceeds goals and doesn't accept "no" as a final answer
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
• Strong interest in fintech, financial services, or startup ecosystems
• Degree in business or related field is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $80,000 - $110,000 OTE (including base salary and commission-based variable compensation)
