About This Position
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to spearhead market development and commercial growth across our energy and natural resources practice. Based in London, you'll identify new market opportunities, cultivate key client relationships, and shape strategic direction to strengthen our position in this critical sector.
Core Duties
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share and revenue within energy and natural resources
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue high-impact commercial opportunities aligned with company objectives
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with major clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and competitive demands
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting the energy sector
- Present thought leadership and represent Turner & Townsend at industry events and forums
Requirements
- Extensive experience in business development, commercial management, or similar senior roles
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and opening new markets
- In-depth knowledge of the energy and natural resources industry
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at board and C-suite level
- Strategic thinking with commercial acumen and P&L responsibility
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Based in or willing to relocate to London
