Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential real estate organization with offices in central Cologne. Our client seeks an experienced consolidated financial reporting professional to join their finance team.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the parent company
• Managing tax filings for the parent entity
• Creating consolidated group financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
• Supporting preparation of annual business reports
• Leading various project assignments within the finance function
• Coordinating national and international entities and implementing standardized group-wide financial processes

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with:

• Completed business degree (BWL) with focus on controlling, finance, and accounting OR certified qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d)
• Professional experience in controlling, finance, and accounting within a group structure, multi-entity organization, or company with multiple locations
• Consolidation experience—essential for this role
• Fluent German and English language skills for business communication
• Strong analytical capabilities and structured thinking
• High degree of personal initiative and self-driven work style
• Team-oriented mindset combined with independent working ability
