Associate Sales Representative

Overview

We are representing a confidential medical device organization that is expanding its surgical ophthalmology team. Our client is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to support the growth of their glaucoma surgical portfolio through clinical education, operating room support, and strategic account development across the United States.

This is a remote, field-based role requiring regular travel within your assigned territory. You will work directly with surgeons and clinical staff in operating room settings, serving as a trusted clinical resource while driving product adoption and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on operating room case support for surgical glaucoma procedures
• Troubleshoot intraoperative challenges and reinforce clinical best practices with surgical teams
• Deliver product in-services and training sessions to surgeons and clinical staff
• Serve as a clinical resource, maintaining deep product and procedural knowledge to support effective customer education
• Partner with regional leadership on account maintenance and strategic customer support initiatives
• Support account strategy execution to deepen product utilization within existing accounts
• Contribute to pipeline development and regional growth objectives
• Travel regularly within assigned territory and occasionally nationwide as needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in ophthalmic sales or medical device sales (glaucoma experience strongly preferred)
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong clinical acumen with the ability to engage surgeons on procedural and patient-care benefits
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, independent work environment
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within your territory
• Comfort working in operating room environments and supporting live surgical cases
