About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential quantitative investment firm in London. This Associate Member of Trading Staff role offers a unique rotational training program across multiple asset classes—credit, equity, forex, and derivatives—where you will learn systematic trading operations from senior traders and eventually assume ownership of automated trading programs.
You will work at the intersection of technology and markets, monitoring high-volume execution algorithms, collaborating with internal research teams, and interfacing with the global broker-dealer community. This is an exceptional opportunity to build deep expertise in market microstructure while contributing code and analytics that scale sophisticated trading operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor high-volume execution algorithms and portfolio risk across multiple asset classes
- Track real-time market developments and respond to changing conditions
- Interface with external brokers and trading counterparties to optimize execution
- Contribute to the codebase underlying automated trading operations
- Build processes and technology to prevent errors or outages while increasing team capacity
- Provide insight and expertise to research and development teams
- Work global market hours for a portion of every year on a rotational basis
What We're Looking For
