About the Role
Hillcrest Health is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant and Medication Aide to join the caring team at our Hillcrest Silver Ridge community. In this full-time position, you'll work the night shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with every other weekend schedule, supporting residents' needs during evening and early morning hours when compassionate care is most critical.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct personal care assistance to residents in our assisted living community
- Support medication administration tasks as a qualified Medication Aide
- Respond to resident requests and needs with compassion and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming residential environment
- Work collaboratively with the nursing and care team to ensure quality resident outcomes
- Document care activities and resident observations as required
What We're Looking For
- Medication Aide (MA) certification or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated compassion and patience in caring for seniors
- Reliability and dependability in a night-shift schedule
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Physical capability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility support
- A commitment to maintaining resident dignity and independence
