Assembly Technician

Wabtec is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join its manufacturing operations in Rohtak, Haryana. In this full-time position, you will be essential to delivering high-quality assembled components that support our industrial solutions serving customers worldwide.

What This Role Involves

As an Assembly Technician at Wabtec, you'll be responsible for assembling precision components and subassemblies according to detailed technical specifications. You'll work with both hand tools and power equipment to manufacture industrial parts, maintaining the accuracy and quality standards that our customers depend on. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and parts into finished subassemblies and complete units following engineering drawings and work instructions
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and accurately to meet production requirements
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on assemblies to verify conformity with quality specifications
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain efficient assembly line operations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar assembly role
• Proficiency with hand tools and familiarity with power tools and assembly equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and precision
• Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Basic mathematical skills for measurement and dimensional verification
