Saul Company Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of the largest private real estate company in the Washington, D.C. area and with over 130 years of experience, invites you to join our dynamic team as an Area Sales Manager for Arlington/Herndon. Our portfolio includes more than 20 business-class hotels from top brands such as Intercontinental Hotel Group, Marriott International, Hilton, Best Western Hotels, The Watermark Hotel, The Hay-Adams Hotel, and Perch Putt. Operating with a dedicated team of over 1,000 hospitality professionals, we are seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to support the Area Director of Sales in various sales initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assist the Area Director of Sales with strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives
  • Ensure hotels meet their financial goals while maintaining high levels of service
  • Build and maintain long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve property-specific sales objectives for Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge, Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Herndon
  • Drive revenue through the sale of guest rooms and catering services
  • Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
  • Create custom offers and negotiate contracts in alignment with client and hotel objectives
  • Promote Our Quality Pledge and Standards of Service for B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or a related role within the hospitality industry
  • A deep understanding of sales strategies, client relationship management, and contract negotiation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and the ability to understand and meet financial targets
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships
