Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of the Leadership team at Embassy Suites By Hilton Dulles Airport hotel in Herndon, Virginia. This role oversees housekeeping operations and ensures the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas. The position requires effective management of assigned staff to achieve financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee overall housekeeping operations and ensure cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas
• Use leadership skills to drive revenue and maximize profit while maintaining quality standards
• Manage assigned staff to achieve financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team relations
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies effectively
• Provide training and mentorship to staff members

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality operations, with at least 3 years as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role
• Proven track record of leadership and management skills
• Strong understanding of housekeeping procedures and best practices
• Able to effectively manage staff and resolve conflicts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Certified Housekeeper (CH) or Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) preferred
