About the Role
CIM Group is a community-focused real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, lender, and developer with over 30 years of experience. We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Asia Pacific Institutional Sales Team (APAC). This role involves working alongside senior team members, contributing to key fundraising initiatives, and offering direct exposure to some of the world's leading institutional investors.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with senior team members on strategic client relationships within the APAC region.
- Contribute to the development and execution of fundraising strategies for CIM Group’s real estate and infrastructure funds.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and endowments.
- Support the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in engaging major insurance companies and banks.
- Collaborate on Global Consultant Relations (GCR) initiatives to engage investment consultants, OCIO providers, and other asset managers.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in institutional sales or client relationship management within the real estate or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, insurance companies, and banks.
- Strong understanding of real estate and infrastructure investment strategies and their application in fundraising initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex financial information to a variety of audiences.
- Able to work effectively within a team environment while also managing individual projects independently.
