About This Position

The Production Stage Manager is a key member of the production team, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations during performances. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical aspects of stage management, including cueing, prompt speaking, and managing crew members.
• Ensure that all production elements (props, lighting, sound) are in place and functioning correctly before each show.
• Work closely with the director, producers, and other departments to coordinate rehearsals and performances.
• Manage technical run sheets and ensure all necessary equipment is available for each performance.
• Handle last-minute changes or emergencies during shows and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in live entertainment, theater, or similar environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of performers and crew members.
• Familiarity with technical aspects of stage management, such as lighting and sound cues.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
