About the Role

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring that shows are executed flawlessly. This includes managing technical elements such as lighting, sound, and stage design, coordinating with various departments including set construction, and maintaining a high level of safety on set.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup and breakdown of production equipment for each show location
• Ensure all technical aspects meet performance standards
• Collaborate with production teams to manage schedules and timelines
• Coordinate with venue staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain safety protocols and procedures on set
• Prepare and submit necessary paperwork for each show location

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in live entertainment production, preferably with a major touring company
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage design
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in managing multiple shows simultaneously is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in theatre technology or related field preferred but not required
