Applied AI Intern

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI software organization in Berlin. They are looking for an Applied AI Intern to support customer onboarding execution and process optimization. This is an on-site internship ideal for students or recent graduates interested in implementation, quality assurance, or operations roles within a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding workflows and track success metrics against customer KPIs including quality, reliability, and time-to-value
• Execute onboarding cycles using internal tooling, then help iterate processes as new data and edge cases emerge
• Perform input data quality checks and flag issues early (examples: camera positioning, occlusion, anonymization, detection variance)
• Identify and document edge cases and process variance; contribute to building diverse, up-to-date datasets
• Communicate progress, metric movement, and blockers clearly; propose actionable next steps
• Contribute to continuous onboarding process improvement through checklists, documentation, templates, and tool enhancement suggestions
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure camera setups deliver consistent, reliable onboarding outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current student or recent graduate interested in structured execution roles (implementation, QA, solutions engineering, operations/industrial engineering, data ops, or similar)
• Metrics-minded approach: you enjoy defining success criteria, tracking performance, and driving improvement
• Detail-oriented and reliable with process execution; strong documentation habits and no skipped steps
• Fast, concise communicator who raises issues early and clearly
• Strong ownership mindset: you follow initiatives through and continue improving beyond initial implementation
• Comfortable working with technical systems (no ML background required, but able to reason about symptoms and inputs)
• Manufacturing or process engineering exposure is a strong plus
• Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
