AI Senior Engineer (Graph)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for an AI Senior Engineer specializing in Graph technologies. This is a 100% remote position open to candidates across LATAM.

Our client is building advanced AI-driven systems where Knowledge Graphs serve as the foundation for powerful RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations. They need someone who understands that a graph database isn't just storage—it's a living structure that requires thoughtful architecture, continuous maintenance, and rigorous data quality practices.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop robust ETL pipelines specifically for graph ingestion, determining how disparate data sources connect and relate within a graph structure
• Manage high-volume data streams using tools like Kafka and implement Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns to ensure real-time graph updates
• Write automated scripts and jobs for deduplication, orphan node detection, and data consistency checks to maintain graph hygiene
• Model and handle complex temporal relationships within the graph (such as how ownership or status changes over time)
• Optimize indexes, storage, and query performance as the graph scales to 25,000+ records and beyond
• Transform massive, messy datasets into clean, connected knowledge that powers AI systems

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on Neo4j experience with mastery of Cypher, schema design, and production graph operations
• Strong background building data pipelines and ETL processes, with expertise in data cleaning and structuring for graph ingestion
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka and Change Data Capture methodologies
• Strong Python skills for writing ingestion scripts, maintenance jobs, and custom graph algorithms
• Demonstrated experience implementing automated jobs for entity resolution, deduplication, and quality assurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Passion for collaboration and building inclusive team relationships

Nice to have:

• C# knowledge or ability to contribute to C# codebases
• Prior experience in Finance or Real Estate sectors

This role offers 40 hours per week with availability during normal business hours, 18 days of PTO per year plus local holidays and an annual break between Christmas and New Years, wellness and remote stipends, and an AI learning voucher. Payments are made in USD.
