AI Consultant (all genders) – Hybrid, Berlin/Frankfurt

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential machine learning consultancy in Germany that delivers custom AI solutions for enterprise and industrial clients. They work at the intersection of research and practical application, and are expanding their strategic consulting practice. We're seeking an AI Consultant to join their team in a hybrid role based in Berlin or Frankfurt.

In this position, you'll serve as the technical bridge between data science teams and client business units, leading workshops and pre-sales engagements that translate complex machine learning concepts into actionable business roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate technical workshops with client decision-makers to assess AI use cases, evaluate data readiness, and determine project feasibility
• Convert workshop findings into concrete technical roadmaps and collaborate with ML engineers on effort estimation and proposal development
• Perform hands-on data analysis and build clickable prototypes or small demonstrations to make workshop outcomes tangible for stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise during discovery calls and feasibility assessments in support of the business development process
• Develop and refine reusable workshop frameworks, templates, and methodologies for client engagements
• Act as the technical face of the organization for specific industry verticals

What We're Looking For

• Strong degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering
• Ideally 2-5 years of consulting experience with direct client engagement; exposure to multiple industries is advantageous
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and database concepts; practical data science experience and Python coding skills are a plus
• Hands-on approach with ability to rapidly build prototypes and test ideas
• Confident client presence with ability to moderate discussions and explain technical concepts clearly to both business and IT audiences
• Business-fluent German for the DACH market and fluent English for internal communications
• Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for knowledge-sharing and direct feedback
