Active Trader Strategy Desk

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking an experienced Active Trader Strategy professional to join their trading strategy team. In this role, you'll work directly with active traders to deliver sophisticated market insights, develop trading strategies, and provide educational support across equity and options markets.

This is a client-facing position where you'll conduct one-on-one consultations, lead virtual webinars, deliver daily market briefings, and represent the organization at industry events. You'll help traders fully leverage advanced trading platforms and tools while applying fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and options strategies to real-market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with active trading clients through individual appointments, virtual webinars, recorded educational content, and daily live market briefings
• Educate clients on advanced trading platforms, tools, and strategies across web, desktop, and mobile applications
• Present at live events including trade shows, summits, podcasts, webinars, and digital community platforms
• Provide analysis and insights on equity and options strategies, combining fundamental and technical analysis approaches
• Support customer retention initiatives and identify business development opportunities within the active trading segment
• Maintain current knowledge of market developments, volatility patterns, and events impacting trading conditions
• Deliver presentations to both small groups and large audiences with confidence and clarity

What We're Looking For

• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (required)
• 5-10 years of trading brokerage experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree (required)
• CMT (Chartered Market Technician), CFA, or CFP designation preferred, or willingness to begin working toward certification within 3 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of equities, options, ETFs, technical and fundamental analysis, volatility, and market mechanics
• Working knowledge of option Greeks and position management strategies
• Understanding of statistical concepts including profitability metrics and standard deviation
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Comfort speaking before large audiences and in recorded/live formats
• Advanced organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Passion for trader education and business development

Location & Work Model

This position is based in the United States. Our client is implementing a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout, with onsite expectations varying by role and location. Current requirements may evolve as the transition continues.

Pay

The client's base salary range for this position is $79,000–$153,000 USD per year, with placement depending on experience, scope, and location. The total compensation package may include bonus or variable compensation components.
