Account Development Representative – DACH

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IoT technology client seeking an Account Development Representative to join their DACH sales team. This remote role, based in Germany, offers a structured pathway from pipeline generation to closing sales positions for high-performing professionals.

Our client operates a Connected Operations platform serving industries including transportation, construction, field services, and manufacturing across Europe. You'll join a high-performance sales culture with formal training programs and clear advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive pipeline through personalized outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to prospects across German-speaking markets
• Conduct 60+ prospect calls daily, qualifying leads and generating opportunities for the EMEA sales team
• Participate in trade shows and events to represent the brand and connect with prospective customers
• Master product knowledge and learn consultative selling methodologies specific to IoT solutions
• Maintain meticulous records of all account interactions in Salesforce CRM
• Progress through a three-tier development program (ADR I, II, III) with opportunities for promotion to Account Executive within two years

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 1-3 years professional experience, ideally in customer-facing roles
• Minimum 6-12 months sales experience
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets and expectations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong curiosity and ability to ask insightful, consultative questions
• High proficiency in English and fluency in German
• Resilience and ability to treat rejection as a learning opportunity
• High motivation to work in target-driven sales environment

Preferred:

• Experience in closing sales roles
• Track record of achievements beyond work (academics, sports, charity)
• Excitement about solving problems in innovative ways within the IoT and SaaS space
• Desire to build a career in a fast-growing technology business
