Account Development Representative

Workiva is hiring an Account Development Representative for a fully remote position across the United States. In this full-time role, you'll drive revenue expansion by cultivating relationships with existing customers, uncovering growth opportunities, and ensuring they maximize the value of our platform.

About the Role

You'll be at the heart of customer success and revenue growth as an Account Development Representative at Workiva. Your focus will be understanding evolving customer needs, identifying opportunities to expand their use of our solutions, and supporting their strategic objectives. Working remotely, you'll have the autonomy to build deep, productive partnerships that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop tailored account strategies to grow revenue within your assigned customer portfolio
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and needs assessments with key stakeholders
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer goals
• Partner with sales engineering, product, and customer success teams on account initiatives
• Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking in our CRM
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers at multiple organizational levels
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution presentations

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in account development, sales development, or direct sales roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven skill at identifying customer challenges and proposing relevant solutions
• Comfort using CRM platforms and sales technology
• Strong self-discipline, time management, and organizational skills
• Driven mindset with a focus on measurable results
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience in sales
