About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential aerospace and defense organization seeking a 2027 Spring Co-op Cyber Software Engineer Intern based in Cincinnati, OH. This is an exceptional opportunity for students pursuing careers in cybersecurity and software engineering to gain hands-on experience with mission-critical systems.
This co-op position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. No relocation assistance is available, and no travel is required.
Responsibilities
As a Cyber Software Engineering Co-op, you will:
- Work alongside experienced engineers on cybersecurity software projects supporting critical systems
- Contribute to the development and testing of secure software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and security assessments
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical initiatives
- Document engineering processes and findings
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
- Expected graduation date of 2027 or later
- Strong foundation in software development and programming languages
- Interest in cybersecurity, secure coding practices, and software security
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Available for Spring 2027 co-op term
