About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech client in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood. We're seeking an experienced Product Data Scientist to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on consumer lending initiatives.
This is a long-term contract role with a hybrid work model: three days onsite in San Francisco, two days remote. You'll work in Pacific Time zone hours.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to drive data-informed product decisions
- Analyze consumer lending data to identify opportunities for product optimization
- Build predictive models and statistical analyses to support product strategy
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to measure product performance
- Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor key product health indicators
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in Banking, FinTech, or Consumer Lending domains
- Proven experience as a Product Data Scientist or similar analytical role
- Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and experimentation methodologies
- Proficiency with SQL and programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable with hybrid work arrangement in San Francisco
