Requirements Traceability SME (QMB) with Security Clearance

Overview

We are representing a confidential defense analytics organization seeking a Requirements Traceability Subject Matter Expert (QMB) for their Norfolk, Virginia location. This position requires an active security clearance and offers the opportunity to deliver high-impact technical solutions on complex national security programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for requirements traceability processes and quality management board (QMB) activities
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability matrices across complex defense programs
• Support quality management processes ensuring compliance with government standards and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track, validate, and document requirements throughout the program lifecycle
• Participate in technical reviews and quality audits
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations to program stakeholders
• Develop and maintain documentation in accordance with defense contracting requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active security clearance required (due to the sensitive nature of client programs)
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements traceability methodologies and tools
• Experience with quality management board processes in defense or government contracting environments
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Familiarity with defense acquisition frameworks and standards
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across technical teams
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in systems engineering, program management, or related field
