About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential national security organization seeking a Mission Security Coordinator with an active security clearance to join their team in Norfolk, Virginia. Our client is a long-established defense contractor delivering technical solutions to complex challenges for government customers.

This role requires close collaboration with mission stakeholders to coordinate security protocols and ensure compliance across critical programs. You will serve as a key liaison between operational teams and security management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security requirements and protocols for mission-critical programs
• Serve as primary point of contact for security-related inquiries and compliance matters
• Maintain documentation and tracking systems for classified materials and personnel clearances
• Conduct security briefings and debriefings for program personnel
• Monitor adherence to government security regulations and organizational policies
• Support security incident reporting and investigation processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into mission planning

What We're Looking For

• Active security clearance required (clearance level to be discussed during screening)
• Experience coordinating security operations in a defense or government contracting environment
