Role Overview

We are seeking a Director, Global Developer Success to lead and scale our technical support organization. This role is pivotal in turning customer technical responses into a repeatable, measurable, and differentiated advantage for Temporal. The team you will manage provides fast, confident support for complex developer and infrastructure issues, helping users deploy, operate, debug, and scale Temporal across various environments.

Core Duties

• Lead the global Developer Success organization to ensure technical excellence and customer empathy while building operational rigor.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance developer experience and support for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to align on support initiatives and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Drive continuous improvement in support processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a technical support or developer success role within the software industry.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native environments, distributed systems, SDKs, observability stacks, and mission-critical workloads.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Adept in problem-solving and technical troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Experience in developing and executing support strategies that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
