Your Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment including motors, drives, sensors, actuators, and control panels at the pilot plant.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and lagging indicators; repair or replace worn components promptly.
- Perform scheduled preventive-maintenance tasks, lubrication, alignment, and calibration to extend asset life.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs to complete work accurately and document changes.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or system upgrades while following all site safety procedures.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to isolate issues, restore run-time, and suggest reliability improvements.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and tool inventories while adhering to lockout/tagout and other safety standards.
Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience as an Electromechanical Technician or in a closely related electrical-mechanical maintenance role.
- Working knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor starters, PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation common in industrial plants.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals and to use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team under time pressure.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety rules, lockout/tagout, and personal-protective-equipment requirements.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work on site at the US OH Mogadore Pilot Plant; a high-school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with technical training a plus.
