About the Role

As a CNA on our healthcare team in Le Mars, you'll provide essential patient care under the supervision of nurses and doctors. This is a hands-on role where you'll interact directly with patients throughout their recovery, assisting with their daily needs and contributing to their comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help patients move, reposition, and transfer between beds and other equipment
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
• Maintain clean and comfortable patient rooms
• Support patients' emotional wellbeing with compassion and patience
• Transport patients to other departments when needed

What We're Looking For

• Current CNA certification
• Valid CPR certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Physical ability to assist patients with movement and transfers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a healthcare team
• Compassion for patients and commitment to providing respectful care
