Registered Dietitian Spec, Day Treatment (Full-time, Day)

Join Prismahealth as a Registered Dietitian Specialist supporting our day treatment program in Greenville, SC. In this full-time position, you'll deliver evidence-based nutrition care to clients in a dynamic behavioral health setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team to advance recovery and wellness.

About the Role

This is a clinical nutrition position within a comprehensive day treatment environment. You will serve as a vital member of our care team, providing specialized dietary guidance and nutrition interventions tailored to each client's unique medical and behavioral health needs. Your work will directly impact nutritional outcomes and support the overall treatment goals of our program participants in the Greenville area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling and education to program participants
• Monitor client progress and adjust nutritional interventions based on clinical response and treatment milestones
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and other clinical staff to integrate nutrition into comprehensive treatment planning
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record system
• Support meal planning and menu development that meets therapeutic and nutritional standards
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with valid state licensure in South Carolina
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program
• Completion of an accredited dietetics internship program
• Valid Registered Dietitian examination certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
• Ability to adapt to a day treatment schedule and setting
