Services Training Manager

Wabtec is recruiting a Services Training Manager for its operations in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. This full-time role leads the development and delivery of training programmes that equip service teams with technical expertise and practical skills essential for customer support excellence.

Position Summary

As Services Training Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive training initiatives across service departments. This position bridges training development and operational delivery, ensuring service personnel maintain the highest standards of technical competency and customer responsiveness within Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop training curricula aligned with current service delivery requirements and technical advancements
• Conduct instructor-led and digital training programmes for service technicians, field engineers, and support teams
• Assess competency levels and identify skills gaps across service operations
• Create training materials including technical documentation, videos, and practical assessment tools
• Evaluate programme effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
• Partner with service operations management to ensure training aligns with operational priorities
• Maintain comprehensive records of training delivery, attendance, and certification status

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical training programmes
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency with training management systems and learning management platforms
• Capacity to teach diverse audiences and adapt delivery to varied learning styles
• Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Background in manufacturing, service operations, or technical fields valued
