What This Role Involves

As a Packer I at Wabtec in Monte Alto, you'll be responsible for preparing, packing, and shipping products according to precise specifications. This hands-on position is central to ensuring our customers receive their orders safely and on time. You'll work in our fulfillment center, where attention to detail and efficiency directly impact our success.

Your Responsibilities

• Inspect items and verify accuracy against order documentation
• Securely pack products using appropriate materials and techniques
• Apply labels and markings to packages as required
• Operate packaging equipment and machinery safely
• Organize and maintain a clean, orderly work area
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Handle materials with proper lifting and ergonomic techniques

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant warehouse experience)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to lift and carry boxes regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliability and punctuality
• Basic math skills for order verification
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines consistently
• Experience with warehouse operations or packing is a plus
