AI Operations Manager

Storyteller is hiring an AI Operations Manager to work full-time in Turkey. This role is central to ensuring the company's AI tools and platforms remain reliable, secure, and optimized as the organization scales across leading global brands in sports, media, and entertainment.

Role Overview

You will take direct operational ownership of how Storyteller's AI tools, platforms, and workflows function across the entire business. This role focuses on ensuring AI systems are properly set up, used effectively, and continuously improved—staying alert to rapid changes in the AI technology landscape. Rather than maintaining the status quo, you'll identify weak points and inefficiencies in our AI setup and drive sustainable improvements. Success requires both strategic awareness of AI trends and hands-on technical work.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational setup, stability, and quality standards for all AI tools and platforms Storyteller uses
• Respond to platform updates, model changes, and emerging AI capabilities affecting the business
• Create and maintain operational standards governing how AI tools are configured, accessed, governed, and measured
• Build visibility into current AI configurations, tool usage, user access, system dependencies, and performance
• Identify fragile or inefficient areas in our AI technology stack and develop practical, scalable solutions
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand where AI creates value and where it creates obstacles
• Provide leadership with clear insight into AI system health, areas of risk, and critical improvements needed
• Maintain alignment between our AI tooling and business needs, ensuring systems remain reliable and in control

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience managing or improving technical systems—particularly AI tools, workflow automation platforms, LLM applications, or AI-powered processes
• High personal ownership and accountability for operational results
• Strong technical understanding of AI systems, configuration, workflow design, access management, APIs, and technical dependencies
• Comfort making sound decisions in uncertain, fast-changing environments
• Ability to evaluate competing priorities and commit decisively to action
• Proven track record of taking improvements from planning through successful implementation
• Direct, transparent communication and the ability to maintain consistent operational standards
• Genuine interest in AI and a clear sense for how quickly AI technology is changing
• Good judgment about when to act independently, when to seek input, and how to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Self-directed energy and attention to detail—able to move quickly without letting important details slip
