About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) specializing in oncology trials. This field-based role serves as the primary site contact throughout all phases of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP standards and regulatory requirements while managing site relationships across assigned protocols.
Location: United States (candidates must reside in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Chicago, Southern California, or Missouri). This is a remote position requiring 65-75% travel, typically 2-3 days per week. Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary site contact and manager throughout all trial phases, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring continuity
- Perform clinical study site management and monitoring activities in compliance with ICH-GCP, local regulations, and protocol requirements
- Conduct remote and on-site monitoring visits including validation, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits; document comprehensive visit reports in CTMS and eTMF systems
- Coordinate site readiness activities and provide input on site selection and validation processes
- Review and monitor regulatory documentation for study start-up, maintenance, and close-out phases
- Communicate with investigators and site staff regarding protocol conduct, recruitment, retention, deviations, and overall performance
- Identify, assess, and resolve site performance, quality, or compliance issues; escalate appropriately through defined pathways
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and finance
- Maintain accurate documentation across clinical trial management systems within established timelines
- Support audit and inspection activities as needed
- Develop new potential sites according to territory strategy and build clinical research capabilities
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree or certificate in a scientific/healthcare discipline with at least 5 years of relevant healthcare experience, including minimum 2 years of direct site management (monitoring) experience in biopharma or CRO, OR
- Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 2 years of direct site management (monitoring) experience in biopharma or CRO
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of clinical research phases, GCP/ICH guidelines, and country-specific clinical research regulations
- Proven skills in site management including performance management and patient recruitment
- Demonstrated high-level monitoring skills with independent professional judgment
- Hands-on knowledge of Good Documentation Practices
- Proficiency with MS Office and various clinical IT applications across computer, tablet, and mobile devices
- Ability to analyze data and metrics and implement appropriate actions
- Experience with root cause analysis and preventative/corrective action implementation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
