Staff Pharmacist Consult Manager – Accredo – Remote (AZ, FL, IN, OH, or TN)

Responsibilities

Our client, a specialty pharmacy organization, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist Consult Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a team of pharmacists and technicians. In this role, you will:

• Monitor productivity and performance standards while planning and directing workflow and project assignments
• Oversee production volume to ensure service standards are met
• Schedule and monitor staff and daily workflow to meet prescription turnaround time and phone service standards
• Conduct hiring, training, and evaluation of staff while developing employee skills and providing performance feedback
• Oversee resolution of employee relations issues and ensure team adherence to attendance and employment policies
• Work with senior leadership to develop policies, procedures, and business work plans
• Address operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues as they arise
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance internal and external customer service
• Serve as a point of escalation for complex issues requiring expertise or discretion
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects
• Participate in production work as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, RPh or Pharm D degree
• Current pharmacy licensure in good standing in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, or Tennessee
• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email
• Strong knowledge of current pharmacy regulations
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to effectively develop and assist team members
• Experience training and coaching less experienced staff with patience to explain details repeatedly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Willingness to work flexible schedule for peak times
• Willingness to travel 10%
• Must reside in AZ, FL, IN, OH, or TN (preferably within an hour of local sites)
• Cable broadband or fiber optic internet with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for remote work

Preferred:

• Technical expertise with specialty pharmacy systems, platforms, products, and services

This is a remote position with typical hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm Eastern Time. Flexibility to provide support outside of regular hours is required.
