Position Summary

This part-time Bar & Waiting Staff position in Hartlepool offers a genuine opportunity to work in the heart of hospitality. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders at the bar and tables
• Prepare and serve drinks to specification, maintaining bar presentation standards
• Deliver orders promptly and courteously, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Operate the till accurately and securely, processing cash and card transactions
• Check customer identification to ensure full compliance with age verification regulations
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the bar, dining area, and support zones
• Stock and prepare bar supplies, rotate inventory, and keep work areas organised
• Communicate clearly and supportively with team members during service
• Address customer enquiries and resolve any concerns professionally and promptly

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and able to confirm age verification compliance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with genuine customer service orientation
• Capacity to work efficiently and remain calm in fast-paced hospitality environments
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible to accommodate part-time shift patterns
• Basic numeracy for till operation, cash handling, and simple transactions
• Professional demeanour and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality work
• Experience in hospitality or customer service roles is valued but not essential
