About This Position

As a Systems Engineer (Level II) at Prime System Solutions, you will take on a key technical role managing our systems infrastructure. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with enterprise-level technologies whilst solving complex technical challenges. Based in Lahore, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable systems that support our business operations.

Core Duties

• Design, implement, and manage systems infrastructure covering both on-premises and cloud environments
• Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and resolve technical issues
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and runbooks
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and integration
• Perform capacity planning and optimisation to ensure efficient resource utilisation
• Automate routine tasks through scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices

Who We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of hands-on systems engineering or systems administration experience
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, virtualisation, and storage technologies
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues methodically
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to reliability
