About the Role

Serve as a locum physician in our urgent care facility in Center Grove, Iowa, treating acute and non-emergent conditions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, with competitive weekly compensation and an available start date of as soon as possible.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat urgent care patients with acute injuries and illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests
• Prescribe medications and establish treatment plans
• Manage minor procedures, wound closure, and orthopedic immobilization
• Arrange appropriate referrals and coordinate ongoing care
• Document patient encounters and maintain medical records
• Work collaboratively with nursing and clinical support staff

What We're Looking For

• Active MD or DO license (Iowa licensure required or ability to obtain)
• Board certification or board-eligible status in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or related field
• Valid DEA registration
• Current professional liability insurance or capacity to arrange
• Clinical expertise and sound judgment in urgent care settings
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
