About This Position

As an Anesthesiologist with CompHealth, you'll deliver anesthetic management and perioperative care across surgical specialties in the Greenwood area. Core Duties

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and anesthetic depth throughout procedures
• Manage airways and respiratory support in perioperative and critical care settings
• Provide acute and chronic pain management consultation
• Assess patient medical history and develop individualized anesthetic plans
• Coordinate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure seamless case flow
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulatory documentation standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
• Current state medical license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certification or board eligibility from the American Board of Anesthesiology
• DEA registration
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated competency in airway management and perioperative care
