About the Role

This locum tenens PA position in adult medicine offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients across a range of acute and chronic health conditions while working closely with physicians and clinical staff.

What You'll Do

• Assess and evaluate adult patients presenting with diverse medical conditions
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as indicated
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with attending physicians
• Prescribe medications in accordance with your scope of practice and California regulations
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain complete medical records
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team rounds and clinical discussions
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Active PA license in California
• Physician Assistant Certification (PANCE or equivalent)
• Current DEA registration
• Professional liability insurance
• Strong clinical foundation in internal medicine and adult health
• Proven ability to practice independently and collaborate effectively with team members
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliability and professional adaptability
