About the Role

You'll work as a locum tenens physician in a facility-based setting, providing comprehensive family medicine and obstetrical care to diverse patient populations. This position includes full-time responsibilities with 24/7 on-call coverage as needed. The role combines preventive care, acute illness management, and obstetric services including vaginal deliveries in a collaborative healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Deliver office-based and facility-based family medicine services across the lifespan
• Manage obstetric patients through pregnancy, labor, and delivery, including vaginal deliveries
• Provide 24/7 on-call availability to support the facility's patient care needs
• Work collaboratively with nursing, specialists, and ancillary staff
• Document thoroughly and maintain compliance with facility protocols and electronic health records
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Nevada medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine
• Current training, experience, or demonstrated competency in obstetrics and vaginal delivery
• DEA registration and malpractice insurance (coverage available)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility and professional approach to locum tenens assignments
