About the Role

As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, you'll provide expert care for women with high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric conditions. This locum tenens assignment offers the chance to practice your specialty without the long-term commitment of a permanent position, while remaining fully integrated into the clinical team and patient care workflows.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage high-risk pregnancies, including those with maternal and fetal complications
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging and other prenatal assessments
• Collaborate with obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine colleagues on complex case management
• Provide direct patient care and counseling regarding pregnancy management and delivery planning
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation
• Contribute to the quality and continuity of maternal-fetal medicine services in the Rockford area

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Illinois
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in high-risk obstetrics and fetal diagnosis
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with interdisciplinary teams
• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care
