Graphic Designer – Multi-Media Specialist

Maximus seeks a Graphic Designer - Multi-Media Specialist to join our Frankfort, Franklin County office on a full-time basis. This role supports a federal Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) program, where you'll translate complex information into clear, compelling visual communications that serve the public health mission.

Position Summary

As a Graphic Designer - Multi-Media Specialist at Maximus, you will contribute to meaningful federal health initiatives by creating visual content and multimedia materials that communicate complex technical and policy information to diverse audiences. Working closely with program teams and stakeholders, you'll develop designs that are both visually engaging and functionally clear—turning intricate concepts into accessible, professional deliverables that support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce graphics, layouts, and multimedia assets for federal OPTN program materials
• Convert technical documentation and policy content into visually clear, compelling communications
• Collaborate with program managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand communication objectives
• Develop layouts for reports, presentations, web materials, and other multimedia formats
• Ensure all visual materials align with federal branding, style, and accessibility standards
• Manage design projects from concept through final delivery, meeting timelines and quality expectations

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design and multimedia production
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities and visual communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and incorporate feedback effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
• Familiarity with federal contracting environments and compliance standards is a plus
