Project Entity Support/OPTN Coordination Specialist

Maximus is hiring a Project Entity Support/OPTN Coordination Specialist at our Frankfort, Franklin County office. This full-time position works directly with the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to support the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), the critical infrastructure that coordinates fair and equitable organ allocation across the United States based on medical need.

About the Role

You will serve as a key coordinator for project entity initiatives within the national organ transplant system. This role bridges operational requirements with clinical outcomes, ensuring that procurement and transplantation policies are executed effectively across regional and national networks. You'll manage coordination between multiple stakeholders including procurement organizations, transplant centers, and regulatory bodies to maintain system integrity and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate with OPTN member organizations and project entities to align on policies, procedures, and system improvements
• Manage documentation, data integrity, and compliance tracking for transplant network operations
• Support policy implementation and monitor adherence to organ allocation standards
• Respond to inquiries from procurement organizations, transplant centers, and system participants
• Prepare reports and summaries to track project progress and system performance metrics
• Assist in coordinating meetings, calls, and communications between network stakeholders
