About the Role

Maximus is seeking a talented designer to develop visual solutions for a federal OPTN (Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network) initiative. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between complex medical and operational content and clear, accessible designs that help stakeholders understand critical information. Your work will support the life-saving mission of organ procurement and transplantation coordination across the nation.

What You'll Do

• Design graphics, infographics, and multimedia assets that communicate complex federal healthcare data and procedures clearly
• Develop professional documents, presentations, and web-ready visual materials for internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, writers, program managers, and technical teams to translate detailed content into compelling designs
• Ensure visual consistency across all materials, maintaining brand standards and accessibility guidelines
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight federal compliance and reporting deadlines
• Provide design feedback and recommendations to improve overall communication effectiveness

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in graphic design, document design, or multimedia production
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it visually
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working cross-functionally
• Attention to detail and understanding of federal compliance and accessibility standards including WCAG and Section 508
