System & Network Engineer (Level II) (Remote)

Prime System Solutions is hiring a System & Network Engineer (Level II) for a remote, full-time position in the Philippines. Join our team to design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure and network systems that keep our operations running seamlessly.

Role Overview

As a System & Network Engineer (Level II), you'll take ownership of mid-level technical responsibilities across our infrastructure. You'll design and implement network solutions, administer system resources, and ensure reliable, secure operations. Working independently while collaborating with senior engineers and other teams, you'll tackle complex technical challenges and contribute directly to our organization's technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN systems
• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, managing user access, permissions, and security policies
• Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Manage cloud infrastructure components and virtualization platforms to support business operations
• Respond to infrastructure incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement lasting solutions
• Document system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate technical records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of professional experience in system and network administration
• Strong technical foundation in operating systems, networking protocols, and security principles
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex infrastructure issues
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Clear communication skills and attention to detail in technical documentation
