System & Network Engineer (Level-I) (Remote)

Prime System Solutions is hiring a System & Network Engineer (Level-I) to join our team on a full-time remote basis, supporting operations from Central Visayas, Philippines. Role Overview

As a System & Network Engineer (Level-I), you'll be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the core systems and network infrastructure that keeps our operations running smoothly. This role bridges systems administration and network support, requiring both hands-on technical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with team members across departments. You'll gain direct experience with enterprise infrastructure while being supported by senior team members to develop your technical expertise.

What You'll Do

• Monitor system performance, network uptime, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools and dashboards
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues reported by end users and systems
• Assist with system deployment, configuration, and maintenance across physical and virtual environments
• Support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices
• Document system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure improvements and updates
• Respond to escalated technical issues and work toward timely resolution

What We're Looking For

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
• Understanding of system administration principles for Windows, Linux, or both
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Ability to read technical documentation and learn new systems quickly
• Clear communication skills and willingness to document your work
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications or technical training (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent) are valued
